Troubleshooting before making an appointment for service:

My Air Conditioner won’t run!
Does your furnace fan run? If so, you can use your thermostat to turn your fan on. If your fan does not run, you will want to check the circuit breakers. If your circuit breaker is "ON" and you still can’t turn the fan on, check the disconnect box mounted outside. The disconnect box will be mounted near your condenser. After you’ve tried this and your fan still won’t run, you will need to make a service call.
My Air Conditioner runs, but is leaking water by the furnace.
  1. Clean or replace your furnace filter.
  2. Clean the condenser (the unit is located outside)
  3. Clean the drain hose. If you can't clean the hose, replace the hose.
My Furnace won’t run.
First check your furnace filter. If it is dirty/clogged, change it. You can use your thermostat to turn your fan on. If your fan doesn't run, check the switch on the side of the furnace and the circuit breakers and make sure they are in the on position. If your fan still doesn't run after checking the switch and circuit breakers, turn your thermostat off and wait one minute for the furnace to reset itself before you turn it back on. Make sure all of the doors on the furnace are shut properly before you turn it back on. If your furnace still won’t run, you will need to make a service call.
